Hello! It's Wednesday and I'm just now getting to blog about our fun weekend. I guess that's life with a 6 month old! :)
This past weekend we took another trip back to Kansas City for a good friend's wedding and Maggie's six month photo session. I'll post those pics as soon as I get them back. Mag's was not in the best of moods, but I think they will still end up being cute.
My friend, Kelley's, wedding was this past Friday. I've known her my whole life because our mom's worked together as nurses. So I was excited to share in her big day.
Our little family of three.
My girl and I.
She was a tad cranky (to say the least) since she had only slept 20 minutes of a 3 hour car ride and went straight to a wedding!
Poor Ryan had to hold her outside of the church because she was having a full on melt down. It didn't help that the wedding was at 6 pm which is her "bewitching hour". The hubs ended up taking her back to the house while my mom & I went on to the reception. Love that man.
Luckily, Nana was there to help entertain (and pull her hair) for awhile before Mag's went home to sleep.
The bride & I.
Sorry for the poor quality. It seems like I only take pictures with my iPhone these days.
Family pic with our graphic t-shirts. Ha!
Love this picture of Nana & Maggie.
We're twins!! Matching with my daughter maybe my favorite thing to do now.
Saturday was spent visiting my Grandma, Ryan's cousin and running a few errands.
Maggie and her Great Grandma
We love taking every opportunity to spend as much time as we can with this special lady.
Afterwards, we heading to Ryan's cousin's house to say hi. While we were there, Maggie got to experience her first ball pit. This is definitely now on my list of must haves! They just filled their blowup swimming pool with balls from Toys-R-Us. I love that idea because we can still use our pool from this summer year round!
Maggie & her cousin (once removed?) Brody
She is in the touchy, feely stage. :) They are about 7 months apart in age.
Maggie's favorite spot.
Finally, we capped off our day with a walk in the perfect fall temperature that we had that evening. We are so excited for the temperatures to drop a bit and enjoy my favorite month of the year!
