Newborn Photos

I finally got most of Maggie's birth announcements out this past Friday.  I had a different design in mind but I didn't have a picture that would work with it so this is what we ended up with.

I ordered them off tinyprints.  Their designs are so cute!!

Now I can post a few of the newborn pictures we had taken of Maggie!  Apparently you are supposed to have these done when your newborn is between 7 and 10 days old.  And photographers can be pretty strict about this!  I was so overwhelmed that first week that I didn't get it scheduled until she was about 12 days old, and there really is a difference.  She was more alert and not as sleepy as newborns tend to be (not as moldable for positions).  Oh well, I'll try to remember that for next time.  I think we still were able to capture some pretty sweet pictures.

I have some cute naked bum pictures but the hubs didn't want me to post those on the internet.  You just never know!

The photo shoot took about a little over two hours, and I think I had to stop and feed her around 3 times. Ha!  Thank goodness Maggie's Meme was there to help lure her to sleep in some of these photos.  Don't let these pictures fool you!  Newborn photo shoots can be a tad bit stressful.  :)

  2. They turned out absolutely great! It's crazy how much difference just 2 days makes in their little lives! Our newborns took about 3 1/2 hours and I nursed twice! I need to get on the birth announcement...
