Welcome! I hope you enjoy your stop by to check out my husband & I's yard and garage. It has been so dry here in Texas that we've had to water our lawn twice a day and it's still dying. Sheesh!I posted this picture a few months ago when I just plants some flowers, but it's the best picture of our flower bed before it was stucked dry by the sun. We were lucky that all our landscaping was pretty much done when we bought this house. It was the model home so they went above and beyond. This is a very good thing for us since I do NOT have a green thumb. It's hard for me to keep things alive. My favorite part of our landscaping are the rose bushes. You can't really see the blooms in this picture. This is a view of our backyard right when you walk out the back door. This is our patio that we want to expand and eventually build a cover over it. Another view of the yard. Since this used to be the model home, they had a bridge in the back yard that connected to a walkway to another house. They were going to remove it but my husband wanted to keep it. So then we just had them make us another patio so the bridge connected to something. It is the perfect spot for our chiminea. Our last stop, the garage. We need to get some shelving for the walls but other then that it's just another place to store things. You can see that my husband still hasn't put the new grill in the backyard. He wants to wait until we build the cover over the patio to protect it. :) This used to be the office in the model home so our garage can be heated and air conditioned if we needed. We should have air conditioned the space when we are cleaning it because I about dyed of a heat stroke! The flooring is my favorite part of the garage. We had the builders use special flooring paint to keep the garage nice. I thought it turned out really well. That's the end of the tour. I would love your comments, feedback and suggestions. Have a great weekend!
