Show Us Where you Live Friday - Bathrooms

Welcome!!! I hope you enjoy my little tour of our bathrooms. They are all different from each other and still need some work. As always, I am open to thoughts or suggestions.

We will start off with our half bathroom that is on our first floor. It is sort of in our entry way. This is what you would see right when you walk into it. (The flash was doing something weird in this pic.)
This is sort of our New York themed room. We bought these pictures back when we were in New York for Ryan's 25th birthday.
We then had them framed from Hobby Lobby when they were having their half off sale. I love this pedestal sink and the shape of the mirror. This room actually used to be a lime green! We had the builders paint it before we moved in. It was awful!
My monogrammed towel from Pottery Barn that I registered for when we got married.
Another view and New York wall hanging from Hobby Lobby.
Ok, moving on to our guest bathroom on the second floor. You can probably guess that we did not paint this room. It was a model home and it was staged like this along with one of our guestrooms. You can recall it here before we painted it (just scroll down). Needless to say, this is next on our list to paint. It's just hard to paint a small bathroom with all the nooks and crannies.
My little stand with a candle, frame and oil scented sticks. Bathrooms have to smell good!
Our shower curtain we had bought when we first got married from Crate & Barrel. It doesn't really go with this room but it will when we paint.
More monogrammed towels. Oh, don't mind the holes in the wall. Our towel rack came out of the wall and the builders need to come repair it. All the more reason to paint this room!
The view of the vanity. This is a nice bathroom, I just wish it was bigger.
Now on to what you've all been waiting for! Our master bathroom. This is the view right when you walk in and at the very end is our closet. I will show you that at a later date. (Not sure why the trim looks blue in this pic. I promise it's not!)
The jacuzzi tub. The picture hanging above the towels is the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, Italy. I bought this back in college, and I had it framed a littl while ago. It was so neat to actually see it recently when we were in Italy. I also LOVE the window treatment in this room.
I have lots of candles surrounding the bathtub because it's just a must. I like to take bubble baths to wind down from my day. This is our awesome shower too.
This is my side of the vanity and the linen closet is to the left there.
Ryan's side of the vanity.
Tyler candles are one of my top three types of candles that I love! They smell so good!!
This is where I pull out my seat in the morning to do my makeup in mirror. I hate leaning over the sink to do it. Thankfully, Ryan bought me this awesome mirror for Valentine's Day this year. Oh, and that big case under there is also where all my makeup is. :oP
"Ryan's room" Ha! He wants to decorate it. I told him he could do whatever he wanted, but he still hasn't gotten around to it. I figure I can just shut the door.
Pretty dull right now. This is right across from the linen closet.
Our linen closet. It usually jam packed with towels but they are all in the laundry. Those of you that know me, know that I like my towels and wash clothes!
The view from the opposite end. I love our double doors.
Well, that concludes the tour. Hope you all had fun! I would love to hear your thoughts.

  1. I love these Friday posts. It's fun to see how others have their homes decorated. I love the doors in your master that go from the bathroom to the bedroom. Our master bathroom doesn't have doors - seriously...what did the people who lived here before us do? ALWAYS go to bed and get up at the same time? I doubt it. Anyway, those doors would be perfect for our bathroom. I love the upstairs guest bath - the paint matches nothing in the room. We have the same thing going on right now in ours. I'm not excited to paint it.

  6. The New York theme is great. I have a bathroom in my house that is New Orleans themed. When I went to NO a few years back I bought the slate paintings and loved all of them.

Your masterbath, I'm jealous. Mine is just a shower!

Very cute, I guess you can come over and help me decorate when you come back to KC. LOL
