Anniverary Weekend

Ryan & I decided awhile ago that we wanted to take a little trip somewhere for our anniversary.  We wanted it to be somewhere we hadn't been together.  Chicago has been on our list of places to see so it won out as our choice.  Ryan's been there on business trips, and I went back in high school on a mission's trip.  So I was excited to really get the chance to explore the city with the hubs.  And that we did!

It's probably going to take me a few posts to capture our little 4 day trip.  I'll just start it off with where we stayed. A-mazing!  The Palmer House was in the perfect location and was absolutely gorgeous.  We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.  We were lucky to find a great deal on Priceline that made it affordable.  Definitely would recommend staying here to anybody.

Is this not the most gorgeous lobby you've ever seen?  This picture doesn't even do it justice.

This was our room and was one of the rooms that have been updated to a more modern motif.  I really liked how they decorated it.

This is a poorly light picture of the bathroom.  It felt more like a bathroom that you would have in your home then a hotel bathroom.  I kind of liked that!

I have so much more to share about the fabulous city of Chicago including anniversary dinner, Millennium Park, downtown and miles & miles of walking!

  1. I went there on a mission trip in high school too. It is actually where my hubby and I fell in love on that mission trip. Can't wait to see the other places you went to.
