Rockin' Night

Our roomie's husband came in town for the weekend from Dallas. It was the first time we've seen him since he started his MBA. In honor of Jon's visit we finally broke out the Beatles Rock Band. We all went out to dinner at Lupes along with our friends Scott & Bethany. Then afterward came back to our place to get our rock on.

Ryan on guitar, Jon on drums and Scott on vocals.
Katie & Bethany were the back up vocalists.
We decided that it was time for the girls to show up the boys.
We were pretty hardcore (in my pink pants).
Then the Ebrights took a turn together.
Bethany was the rock star of the night. She is due with her first child in three weeks!! Look how cute she is supporting the guitar on her belly.
A little video for your enjoyment. Katie was cracking us all up with her drum skills.

Right after I took this clip of her, her contact popped out of her eye from concentrating so hard and not blinking! I hadn't laughed that hard in a very long time. Don't worry she recovered and came back with avengeance.

  1. lol...looks like you guys had a great the video! :)

  2. Looks like fun! If you truly want antiques, don't go to Tomball. The last time we were there it was great, but this past Saturday it was mostly a bunch of commerialized and made to look like antique, but not really antique stuff. The 2 things we bought were some of the few real antiques that we found. If you like antiquing you need to do a weekend trip to Wimberly or Fredericksburg when they do Market Days (or Trade Days). It is a lot of picking through stuff, but you get some great deals and there are lots of antiques!

  3. Hey stranger! It's been a while since I have been on. Everytime I get on your blog, you are always doing something fun. Carson doesn't know it yet but my mom bought him a unit like that so I will have to invite all my friends over to party.

Anyways, I hope I get to blogging and then you will understand! Cody and I have traveled 4 times in the last 6 weeks for soccer, Carson has been in the hospital again, and we all got the lovely H1N1 virus. So I think I deserve the Excuse Queen Award. LOL

PS, are you coming home for Thanksgiving? Canasta is calling our names. Hee Hee

  4. We are staying here. Nothing too big going on for Thanksgiving.

Hope yall have a blessed thanksgiving! :)

  5. that looks like so much fun!
i've never played rock band but both of my besties love it!

I'd love to hear from you!
