Don't Go!

On Thursday, Ryan & I attending Jon's going away party. ;( That his lovely wife, Katie, threw for him at Dave & Busters. His last day at ConocoPhillips is fast approaching next week and we had to send him off in style. Jon is leaving the nest to pursue his MBA at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas and taking his wife with him. My girl! A whole 4 hours away! Boo! Even though I am sad to see them go, I am so happy for them. Jon is accomplishing his goals and at the same time they will be closer to their family in Oklahoma. I guess I-45 will just get worn out from all the road trips to and from Dallas. :)

Katie & Jon

I should have gotten a big group picture of the many people that came out to celebrate with Jon but alas I didn't remember. Pictured with Jon & Katie are Aaron & his wife Ellen. Aaron works with me in Lubricants and Ellen works in Katie's group. Also, if you are a Kansas State fan you might recognize Aaron Lockett from his days as a star football player for KSU.
Ryan & I's attempt at a picture...
My girl! Oh how I am going to miss our daily chats over IM. Luckily, I get a little more time with her before she leaves (more on that later).
Ryan getting his ball on.
Some of the guys talkin' smack about their free throw shots.
Ryan using up the last few points on his card. This is a pretty typical picture of Jon believe it or not. I won't even mention how many real guns he has. :) He is a manly man.
I'm going to miss their shenanigans. COP and Houston will not be the same without them. Don't leave me!!!

  2. I know all too well what's it like to say goodbye and it's not fun! You are a great friend to her and she is lucky to have you!! Looks like y'all had a great time though and I love looking at the pictures! BTW, I got my dining room furniture at Star Furniture. We could caravan up I-45 as I have some friends that just moved to Frisco! :)
