This time last year...

This is a kind of slow week here in H-Town. Which is a good thing to have every now and then! So I was sorting and organizing my pictures on my computer and I came across some pictures from last June. We were still living in Bartlesville and Ryan had a meeting down in Houston. I took the opportunity to go with him and visit some friends because we hadn't been back since we moved.

This is Alison and her little boy, Ben. We used to work together when I first lived in Houston at Bellaire Dermatology. Oh the good ol' days. Kidding. We became friends fast and right after we moved she told me she was pregnant. I was so excited! Her little boy is so freaking adorable! Check out her blog and see how big he is now one year later.
We stayed with our friends Brad & Lindsey on the trip. They are so fun to hang out with it's always an adventure with them. This was also the fateful weekend of the toes incident. See here for the story. I can't believe that it has already been a year!
I got sun burned when we got lost on our two hour walk/run.
This was a fun night at Howl at the Moon the dueling piano bar. I had never been to one before. We even ran into friends from college there. What a small world!
Ok, I am done reminiscing. I don't have much planned this week or even this weekend. I am trying to tackle some projects around the house. I even got Ryan to go through his clothes for the first time and get rid of stuff he doesn't wear anymore. He didn't really part with too much but at least we organized his stuff. Baby steps people. Baby steps. I guess I can't talk because I need to go through mine too.

  2. Looks like a lot of fun. I went to the Howlin in New Orleans and had so much fun, we ended up going back the next night as well.
