We have been friends since our freshman year of high school (11 years ago, sheesh!). I still remember meeting this pretty, peppy, bright eyed girl at my locker. I knew instantly that we were going to be fast friends. There was something different about her. She was genuine. Which has always been hard for me to find in a friend.
This is a picture of us at our first high school dance, homecoming. Look how cute she is!
We did so many fun things in high school including letting me tag along on her family ski trip. (Ignore the bad dye job on me.)
We ruled senior year together at Power Puff where the senior girls play the junior girls in flag foot ball. We were scary, weren't we?

We even cheered together. Kara was my biggest supporter and encouraged me to try out my senior year for the varsity cheer leading squad. I made it! We really had a blast that year.

This is a picture of us at our last high school dance, senior prom. We had already changed a ton from freshman year. Rockin' body Kara!
We took some pictures together for our high school year book. This we right before we both headed off for college at Kansas State University. Even though we pledged to different sororities and were in different majors, we remained super close. Oh, we definitely had our ups and downs but we came out stronger because of them.
This was when she came with me to Los Angeles, CA to meet Ryan's sister. She is just so dang supportive! :)
I think the most exciting and cherished thing we have been through together thus far has been sharing in each other's weddings. We were each other's maids of honor.
Even though life has taken us in separate directions since college, we have remained close. I'm hoping some day we will be living in the same town again. I mean we have to have our babies at the same time and raise them as best friends!! :oP I love you girl and you are the best friend a girl could ask for. We are getting old!!!
