On Christmas Eve, Ryan's parents and sisters got into town and we all (including my mom) went out to dinner at Smoke House BBQ. So good! And then we all went to the Candle Light service at my home church. We were pretty tired but it was so good to be reminded of the reason for Christmas. Ryan & I felt so blessed to be able to spend some real time with our families together. When you can't see them everyday it makes you really cherish the moments you do have with them. Christmas was filled with gift giving, lots of delicious goodies, and family time. My mom prepared an amazing meal for lunch and then we played a rousing game of Charades (see pictures below). Then later on that day we went over to Ryan's aunt's house to see the rest of the family and the new babies that are new to the fam. It was so fun to see everybody again. We have a packed schedule while we are here in KC. Ryan is an usher in a wedding of a good friend of his and we have lots of friends and family to still see! Can't wait!

So fun to see you on Christmas Eve! I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to talk afterward - Becca and I went straight home, since I had had 3 hours of sleep the night before. :) But I'm so glad you had a great Christmas!
